On Reconstruction of Hangzhou Spiritual Symbol Based on 5'000 Years'Water Control Culture
Hangzhou has 5'000 years of water control culture:the Liangzhu Water Conservancy Culture laid the foundation of civilization for Hangzhou,the Qiantang River Seawall provided a barrier for Hangzhou,the Grand Canal provided Hangzhou with a driving force of development,and the West Lake added poetic humanistic style to Hangzhou.In the context of Chinese modernization,the 5'000 years'water control culture should be integrat-ed as the spirit of Hangzhou,which can increase residents'cultural identity and social cohesion,enhancee Hangzhou's urban characteristics and recognition,promot Hangzhou's tourism and economic development,and improve Hangzhou's water conservancy planning and residents'awareness of disaster prevention.Based on the above analysis,it is proposed to shape the 5'000 years'water control culture into the spiritual symbol of Hangzhou from the aspects of cultural heritage,conduct code,characteristic industry,visual expression,cultural activities,as well as publicity and promotion.
