Factors Influencing the Realization of Teachers' Democratic Rights in Non-governmental Regular Universities and Improvement Strategies:An Empirical Analysis based on Guangdong Province
The realization of teachers'democratic rights is an important guarantee for the standardized development of non-govern-mental institutions of higher learning.The investigation and analysis of 9 non-governmental regular universities in Guangdong Province reveal that the overall level of realization of teachers'democratic rights in the internal governance is relatively low.It also reveals that key right awareness has a significant impact on the realization of teachers'democratic rights,while organizational commitment and inclination to safeguard rights have some influence,while the impact of institutional guarantees is the most signif-icant.In addition,teachers'perceptions of key right awareness and institutional guarantees are relatively low.Therefore,it is necessary to deepen the awareness of rights,stimulate teachers'enthusiasm for participating in the democratic management of in-stitutions;enhance the level of organizational commitment,and strengthen teachers'rational ability to participate in school demo-cratic management;take a rational view of rights protection behaviors,and enrich and expand channels for teachers'rights protec-tion;strengthen institutional development,and reinforce organizational guarantees for the realization of teachers'rights;adhere to non-profit education,and provide the fundamental guarantee for the realization of teachers'rights.
