Research on the Regional Differences and Spatiotemporal Evolution of Technological Innovation in Chinese Digital Economy Enterprises
Based on the latest standards from the National Bureau of Statistics for identifying digital economy enterprises,this study comprehensively employs various research methods to analyze the regional differences and spatiotemporal evolution charac-teristics of technological innovation in Chinese digital economy enterprises.According to the Dagum Gini coefficient,the overall disparity in technological innovation among digital economy enterprises shows a fluctuating upward trend.Regional disparities are the main source of the overall disparity,with a mean contribution rate of 68.31%.In terms of intra-regional differences,only the eastern coastal and middle reaches of the Yangtze River regions show a convergence trend.Regarding inter-regional differences,the largest disparity exists between coastal and inland areas,followed by disparities between coastal regions and the smallest dis-parities are observed between inland regions.The Markov chain probability transition matrix shows that technological innovation in digital economy enterprises exhibits characteristics where low-level and high-level states are relatively stable,while mid-level states demonstrate strong fluctuations.Moreover,the proportion of transitions between states is much lower for transitions across states than for transitions between neighboring states,indicating that the leapfrog development of technological innovation in digit-al economy enterprises poses significant challenges.The Moran's index indicates that technological innovation among digital econ-omy enterprises exists spatial negative correlation and maintains strong spatial stability.Convergence analysis of"α"and"β"demonstrates a significant divergent trend in technological innovation among digital economy enterprises,and there is a negative spatial spillover effect between regions.These findings provide insights for the formulation of policies aimed at promoting innova-tion development in China's digital economy and regional coordinated growth.
