Research on Education Satisfaction of Postgraduate Students in Non-governmental Institutions of Higher Learning:A Survey of the First Non-governmental Institutions of Higher Learning with the Right to Grant Master's Degrees
As an important part of postgraduate education,postgraduate education in non-governmental institutions of higher learning has always received significant attention,and many non-governmental institutions of higher learning view the development of master's degree programs as a new growth point for their institutional development and construction.Education satisfaction is a crucial dimension and indicator for directly reflecting,monitoring,and evaluating the quality of postgraduate education in non-governmental institutions of higher learning.Conducting surveys on the satisfaction of postgraduate education in non-governmental institutions of higher learning is of great significance for improving the quality of the education and promoting the intrinsic devel-opment of postgraduate programs in these institutions.Selecting five non-governmental institutions of higher learning in China with the right to grant master's degrees,this study uses questionnaire surveys and interviews to investigate postgraduate education satis-faction across five dimensions:course teaching satisfaction,research training satisfaction,advisor satisfaction,management and service satisfaction,and overall education satisfaction.The analysis results show that the overall satisfaction with postgraduate ed-ucation in non-governmental institutions of higher learning is above average,indicating significant progress in postgraduate train-ing.However,there is still room for improvement in areas such as course teaching,research training,advisor quality,and man-agement and services.
