The Application and Action Strategies of Short Videos in University Teaching:Taking Environmental Design as an Example
The rapid development and widespread adoption of short videos have increasingly attracted attention to their application in the field of education,especially in applied disciplines like environmental design.In practice,the use of short videos in higher education environmental design courses offers several advantages.These include audiovisual elements that meet learners'needs,platforms that facilitate resource sharing through interaction,enhanced visual effects that improve teaching engagement,and glob-al exchanges that boost teaching outcomes.However,the application of short videos in teaching also faces challenges,such as the lack of hardware and software infrastructure hindering large-scale promotion,limitations in the depth and breadth of content,diffi-culties in fully meeting personalized learning needs,and the lack of unified quality standards for short video content.In response,this study proposes strategies such as expanding teaching resources and collaboration opportunities,optimizing teaching methods and design,enhancing the learning experience,and focusing on teacher feedback,aiming to deepen the application of short vide-os in environmental design education and foster innovation in higher education teaching.
