Operational Logic,Realistic Challenges, and Practical Paths for the Construction of Whole-process People's Democracy in Rural Areas
Whole-process people's democracy in rural areas is a form of democratic development and the specific application of rural democratic values and systems in rural democratic construction. Strengthening the construction of whole-process people's de-mocracy in rural areas in the new era is based on Marxist democratic political theory,Marxist rural governance theory,General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses on whole-process people's democracy, and traditional Chinese people-oriented culture. It follows the development ideas of theoretical governance logic and party-driven logic, exploring practical paths for promoting whole-process people's democracy in rural areas from four aspects:subjects, mechanisms, organizations, and culture. To achieve whole-process people's democracy in rural areas,it is necessary to root it in the soil of Chinese rural areas and integrate it with the rural context of China. This involves using villagers' political participation in national governance as the field, taking grassro-ots Party organizations in rural areas as the core, using rural democratic political activities as the means, considering grassroots villagers in the new era as the main subjects, and treating rural public affairs as the objects. This approach aims to achieve a full-chain democratic process and comprehensive coverage of democratic subjects.
