To some extent,traditional development theories,such as modernization theory,dependency theory and Neo-liberal development theory,all equate development with economic growth,pursue universal development knowledge,ignore the participation and rights of individuals,communities,and marginal groups,and produce some bad practical results.The criticism and reflection on these traditional development theories led to the birth of the reflective development theories.Among them,development ethics,development anthropology,post-development theory generally accept cultural relativism,attach importance to local knowledge,and emphasize the importance of micro subject participation.The capability theory of development emphasizes the expansion of individual's substantial freedom or multiple abilities.Reflective development theories are important parts of the family of development theories,which have important theoretical and practical significance.
