Bivariate Spatial Autocorrelation Analysis of Physical Fitness Indicators and Socioeconomic Indicators among 18-year-old Han Chinese Adolescents
To investigate the relationship between the level of socio-economic development in China and the physical health of adolescents,a bivariate spatial autocorrelation analysis was conducted using data extracted from the"China Statistical Yearbook."This analysis examined the 2019 national economic indicators(GDP,per capita GDP,the dis-posable income of residents)of each provincial administrative unit and various physical health indicators of adolescents(body shape, physical function, physical fitness). The aim was to explore the spatial correlation between socio-eco-nomic development and the physical health of adolescents. The results indicate that the spatial aggregation of physical shape and functional indicators among Chinese adolescents is significantly correlated with the spatial aggregation of per capita GDP in various provinces(cities). However, the spatial aggregation of physical fitness indicators shows a low degree of spatial correlation with per capita GDP.
