New-Quality Productivity,Enterprise Outward Direct Investment and Supply Chain Efficiency
The current international trade situation is becoming increasingly challenging due to the trend of anti-globalization influenced by geopolitics and sanctions in the high-end technology sector.These factors are impacting the reconstruction of the global industrial chain and supply chain system.The emergence of new quality productivity provides new opportunities to improve enterprise supply chain efficiency.To explore its internal influence relationship and mechanism,this paper empirically analyzes the influence of new quality productivity on outward foreign direct investment(OFDI)and supply chain efficiency by constructing an enterprise new quality productivity index and combining it with enterprise financial data from 2012 to 2022.The results show that:First,new quality productivity can stimulate enterprises'OFDI behavior and improve the efficiency of the enterprise supply chain;Second,enterprise digitalization positively regulates new quality productivity and supply chain efficiency,while it has an inhibitory effect on enterprises'OFDI behavior;Third,the development of new quality productivity improves the efficiency of the enterprise supply chain by expanding the scale of enterprises'foreign direct investment,and its impact on large enterprises,private enterprises and non-high-tech enterprises is more significant.This paper aims to provide new evidence for Chinese enterprises to develop new quality productivity and international selection strategies,and provide relevant policy suggestions for improving the stability of the enterprise supply chain.
