CHEN Yongcan's Experience in Treating Spleen and Stomach Diseases with Combination of Classic Prescriptions
[Objective]To elaborate the clinical experience of CHEN Yongcan,a national expert in traditional Chinese medicine,in the treatment of spleen and stomach diseases,from the perspective of combination of classic prescriptions.[Methods]Select three medical cases from CHEN Yongcan's outpatient clinic that can reflect the characteristics of his active use of traditional Chinese medicine,namely Shengjiang Banxia Decoction combined with Erchen Decoction for treating functional vomiting in children,Dahuang Fuzi Decoction combined with Simo Yinzi for treating stubborn constipation,Taohua Decoction combined with Gegen Qinlian Decoction for treating ulcerative colitis.Provide a detailed introduction for the differentiation and treatment approach,with a focus on the flexible use of the above-mentioned Zhongjing formulas and unique insights into the provisions of the treatise on Shanghan Lun.[Results]Shengjiang Banxia Decoction is mainly used,combined with Erchen Decoction,to better exert its effects of reducing reflux,stopping vomiting,resolving accumulation and stomach problems,thereby quickly solving vomiting in children;The addition of Dahuang Fuzi Decoction to Simo Yinzi has transformed the concept of warming and promoting digestion,breaking through the dilemma of stubborn constipation;Taohua Decoction combined with Gegen Qinlian Decoction treats ulcerative colitis with the direction of clearing dampness heat,detoxifying stagnation and cooling blood heat.The therapeutic effect is satisfactory,and the unique insight that Taohua Decoction is not a warm and astringent agent is proposed.[Conclusion]CHEN Yongcan is adept at using traditional Chinese medicine formulas to treat spleen and stomach diseases,which has positive reference significance for the improvement of the clinical level of traditional Chinese medicine among today's doctors.
