[Purpose/Significance]Analyzing American think tank reports can aid in accessing the recogni-tion of the United States towards China's artificial intelligence strategies,thereby offering suggestions for China's countermeasures.[Method/Process]By using the literature analysis method,the paper selects 20 documents from 6 think tanks in the United States as samples,and summarizes their main recognition of China's military artificial intelligence,including their characteristics,motivations,and influence.[Result/Conclusion]American think tanks generally view China's development of military artificial intelligence as a threat,recommending various contain-ment measures against China.Nonetheless,some think tanks,recognizing the uncertainties in the future military applications in the field of artificial intelligence,still advocate for cooperation with China to mitigate future risks.In this regard,China should strengthen its own capabilities to prepare for future intelligent warfare,promote inter-national exchanges and cooperation to boost the development and utilization of military artificial intelligence in a peaceful and safe way,and strengthen the correct orientation of international public opinion to enhance the inter-national community's understanding and cognition of China.
