[Purpose/Significance]Investigating the perceptions of Taiwan think tanks regarding the"One Country,Two Systems"Taiwan scheme is significant important for the Chinese mainland in refining and promot-ing the scheme to advance national unification.[Method/Process]This article selects five Taiwan think tanks as a sample for analysis,and examines the 17 research results published by these think tanks concerning the"One Country,Two Systems"Taiwan scheme.[Result/Conclusion]The study shows that the cognition of Taiwan's think tanks can be categorized into four types:rational analysis,suggestions for improvement,countermeasures,and prejudice and doubt.In terms of cognitive characteristics,there is a clear bifurcation between rational analysis and biased denigration.Patriotism,rational perception of the cross-strait pattern,and attachment to the Taiwan authorities and collusion with U.S.designs are the main motivations for Taiwan think tanks'perceptions.Positive evaluations by Taiwan think tanks are deliberately ignored by the Taiwan authorities and the green media,while negative perceptions are heavily disseminated by the green media,thus negatively impacting Taiwan's media opinion and public sentiment.
