Science fiction education:Exploring new frontiers for talent cultivation in Chinese universities
"Science fiction education"represents a novel educational concept and practice model that is grounded in the present while oriented towards the future.Within the context of China's deep implementation of the strategy for invigorating China through science and education,the workforce development strategy,and the innovation-driven development strate-gy,science fiction education can help universities cultivate the innovative talents needed to meet the demands of the future society.This paper explores the connotations of science fiction education,elucidates the value it holds in stimulating students'innovative capabilities,cultivating their systems thinking,and enhancing their humanistic spirit,analyzes the cur-rent status and deficiencies of science fiction education in Chinese universities and proposes strategies to promote its future development.Thus,the paper advocates for Chinese universities to attach greater importance to science fiction education and proactively exploring new frontiers for talent cultivation.
