Confinement-gaze-discourse:transformation of female image in Indian cinema
Under the influence of globalisation,religion and women's issues in Indian cinema have received more and more attention.This paper compiles and analyses the image of women in Indian films,tries to explore the family,ethical and survival dilemmas faced by Indian women in terms of social pains,spiritual pains,and survival pains,and at the same time,from the identity transformation and the sprouting of female consciousness pursued by Indian new women,combined with the unique history and religious culture of the Indian society,it analyses the cultural reflections on women's issues and the progress of time shown in Indian films progress of the times.
