Research on spatial and temporal differentiation and synergistic development of tourism economy in Henan Province
The uneven distribution of tourism resources and differences in geographical and transportation conditions have led to insufficient, uncoordinated, and uneven tourism development, which has affected the high-quality development of the tourism economy.Based on the tourism flow quality index and the tourism economic center of gravity model, this study analyzes the spatial and temporal differentiation patterns of tourism economic development in Henan Province from 2013 to 2022,and uses the tourism economic cohesion model and clustering analysis to explore the characteristics of high-quality tourism economic development in Henan Province. The results show that in terms of tourism economic spatial and temporal differentiation,Henan Province's tourism economy shows a clear stage-by-stage pattern, and the trend of changes in tourism total revenue and tourism total visits is highly consistent;the proportion of high-quality tourism flows in the region is small, and the tourism flow quality index decreased during the epidemic period. The center of gravity of tourism total rev-enue and tourism total visits shows a trend of moving east and south. In terms of the characteristics of high-quality tourism economic development, the tourism economic cohesion strength of various cities in Henan Province has increased, but there are significant differences in different regions and obvious spatial correlation;in general,it presents a staircase-shaped fea-ture of highland-catching-up-potential,but some cities change between the stages.Based on this, measures such as pro-moting the upgrading of the cultural and tourism industry, improving the quality of tourism in Henan Province, fully levera-ging the leading and driving role of highland-type cities, and cultivating the potential for tourism flow development in catch-ing-up and potential cities are proposed.
