Diplomatic coalitions constitute a pivotal strategy in the United States'technological competition with China.In order to enhance its asymmetrical advantages over China,the US has engaged in coalition-building with allies and partners across various domains.Currently,security,production,finance,and knowledge remain the principal structures in this technological competition.With the development of technology,specific areas within these four structures have emerged as crucial sources of structural power for the competing nation-states.Conse-quently,countries possessing significant structural power within these structures are the primary targets for the US diplomatic activities.Given its pronounced asymmetrical advantage in the financial structure,it has shown a preference to partner with countries possessing substantial structural power within the security production or knowledge structure,thereby integrating them as allies and partners As a country may possess high structural power across multiple domains,the US's diplomatic activities within the security production,and knowledge struc-tures have evolved into a systematic coalition system.Analyzing its diplomatic actions within these structures from the perspective of structural power offers insights for understanding the US's technological competition with China.
