Evaluation of Uncertainty in Measurement PTT Fiber Content in PET/PTT Blended Products Via Differential Scanning Calorimetry
Based on the measurement of PTT(Polypropylene glycol terephthalate)fiber content by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),the sources of uncertainty in the experiment were analyzed and quantified in detail.The analysis revealed that the measurement uncertainty mainly comes from differential scanning calorimeter system error and heat quadrature.Consequently,the relative expanded uncertainty of PTT fiber content by DSC was 3.58%(k=2).In addition,according to the author's extensive laboratory testing experience,,some suggestions were given to improve the accuracy of the detection results.
