Research on the Current Situation and Characteristics of Export Trade Friction in China's Textile and Clothing Industry
The textile and clothing industry,as a major export industry in China,has encountered a total of 204 trade friction cases since 1993,ranking fourth among all industries.After exchange rates and tariffs,trade friction has become the third largest trade obstacle for China's textile and clothing exports.This article analyzes the overall situation of textile and clothing trade friction cases,as well as their characteristics in terms of filing time,case type,final conclusion,countermeasures,market distribution,and case correlation.It concludes that the textile and clothing industry has become the industry with high incidence of trade friction cases,the"ripple effect"of cases is obvious,anti-dumping cases are the focus and difficulty of response work,as well as Turkey,India and Indonesia need to be focused on.It aims to provide references for China's textile and clothing industry to export and carry out response work to trade friction.
