Assessing Uncertainty in the Determination of Chromium(Ⅵ)in Leather by Ion Chromatography
According to GB/T 38402-2019,chromium(Ⅵ)in leather was detected by ion chromatography. The source of uncertainty was analyzed and evaluated according to the mathematical model and experimental details. The results show that the uncertainty caused by sample weighing and extraction volume is very minimall, while the uncertainty introduced by repeated measurement and determination of Chromium(Ⅵ)concentration in analytical solution accounts for the main part of the uncertainty in leather. It is suggested that the test error should be minimized by strengthening the promulgation of the standard and unifying the operation methods of the experimenters.
