This article conducts thorough analysis on the issue of impact failure of escalator steps,combining detection data and theoretical analysis to identify the main causes of failure and explore improvement measures. Research has found that the strength and geometric structure of escalator steps are important factors affecting their performance and durability. In response to these issues,some effective improvement measures have been proposed,including optimizing the structural design of escalator step plates and selecting heavy-duty step plates. At the same time,the article also proposes that the gap between the step plate and the comb plate should be kept within a controllable range to prevent the collision between the step plates and the comb plates caused by excessively small gaps.
