Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Software for Urban Steel/Polyethylene (PE) Buried Gas Pipeline
Based on theories including fuzzy risk assessment,risk matrix,safety assessment of excessive defects,and residual strength assessment,a comprehensive evaluation software for urban gas pipelines was developed using an object-oriented computer programming platform. The software includes functions such as conducting fuzzy risk assessment for medium-pressure steel pipes/PE pipes,aging assessment for medium pressure steel pipes,and aging assessment for courtyard steel pipes/PE pipes/vertical pipes in residential areas. A comprehensive evaluation level of 3 for the aging of the steel pipes in the courtyard was obtained by using software to conduct an aging assessment on the steel pipes in a courtyard of a certain residential area. The development of this software provides an effective tool for daily management/renovation evaluation of urban gas pipelines,aging evaluation of medium pressure steel pipelines,and aging evaluation of gas pipelines in residential courtyards.
