Reliability Design of Compressor Discharge Reed Valve
In order to predict the reliability of the exhaust reed valve in a rotary compressor,a calculation model is established to correlate the failure rate of the reed valve with the compressor structure and size, refrigerant, operating conditions, and manufacturing process of the valve plate. According to the model, the structural characteristics of the valve plate are calculated through a transfer matrix method, and the motion characteristics of the valve plate are obtained through fluid-solid coupling co-simulation,so that the stress spectrum in the motion of the valve plate is acquired. Based on the fatigue test of single valve plate, the probability distribution of the allowable strength of valve plate under different processes is obtained. According to stress-strength interference model, the failure rate of the reed valve under high cycle fatigue movement is given. The results show that the error between the natural frequency of the valve plate combination and the measured value is within 7.5%,and the movement simulation of the valve plates is consistent with the measured result in the compressor. Combined with a bad case in a certain market,it is verified that the valve stress before improvement is too large, resulting in a high market failure rate. After improvement, the stress is reduced by 24.7%,the life under the failure rate of one in ten thousand is increased by 50.6 times, and the market data also confirms that the reliability is greatly improved.
