Immunotherapy for Gastric Cancer:Current Research Status and Challenge
Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors,its treatment is mainly based on surgery,supplemented by chemotherapy and targeted therapy.But the effectiveness of conventional treatment is restricted,to improve its therapeutic efficacy of treatment has become a hot topic in recent years.The emergence of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)has altered the treatment strategies of gastric cancer,and its treatment line is continuing to move forward becom-ing one of the key means of treatment.ICIs combined with chemotherapy or with targeted therapy and chemotherapy have become an option in the treatment of gastric cancer.This paper reviews the research progress of ICIs in gastric cancer and summarizes the results of related clinical trials.
