Research Progress on the Prognostic Value of Peripheral Blood Inflammatory Markers in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Inflammation plays a crucial role in tumor occurrence, development, invasion and metastasis, and is associated with the overall prognosis of patients. Therefore, inflammatory indi-cators,such as platelet and lymphocyte ratio(PLR),neutrophils and lymphocytes ratio(NLR),prognosis of nutrition index(PNI),and systemic immune inflammation index(SII),have potential value in prognosis of cancer patients.Numerous studies have demonstrated that inflammatory markers can serve as independent prognostic factors for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. This paper reviews the research progress on the value of peripheral blood inflammatory markers in the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma, aiming to provide references for clinical practice.
