Differentiated Management and Control Practices for Aerospace Power Product Suppliers
With the rapid increase of aerospace missions, the model of supplier level control is no longer suitable. To improve the capacity of quality control and accommodate different types of suppliers,we explored a method referred to as three-level supplier requirement for aerospace transmission of information and the four modes of supplier differentiated management and control:all-round management and control, penetrating management, standardized supervision, and supervisor-dependent management. The paper introduced specific procedures of differentiated control, such as supplier sourcing access, competitive bidding, risk management, process control, performance evaluation, and relationship management. We argue that this implementation of differentiated management and control mode is beneficial to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain management and may serve as a foundation for product control and quality improvement.
