The new mungbean variety Liaolv 29 was created from the artificial cross between mother plant Fulv 2 and father plant Bao 942-34, which was bred by pedigree method. The variety belonged to erect type, sub-determinate podding habit, resistant to disease, insect and drought. The average yield wass 1 722.6 kg/hm2. The Liaolv 29 was suitable growth in most area of Liaoning.
