Effects of Plant Growth Regulators on Seed Germination and Seedling Growth of Dalbergia tsoi
[Objective]In order to explore the effects of plant exogenous hormones on seed germination and growth of Dalbergia tsoi.[Method]In this paper, the seeds of D.tsoi were used as experimental materials, and the seeds of D.tsoi were soaked with different concentration gradients of gibberellin(GA3),2,4-dichloro-phenoxyacetic acid(2,4-D)and indoleacetic acid(IAA).The germination potential, germination rate and germination index of D.tsoi seeds were observed and calculated, and the root length and bud length were measured.[Result]GA3 had the best effect on the germination and growth of D.tsoi seeds, and 50 mg/L GA3 had the best effect on the germination and growth of D.tsoi seeds.IAA generally promoted the seeds of D.tsoi;the promotion effect of 2,4-D on the seeds of D.tsoi was not obvious, and it had an overall inhibitory effect.[Conclusion]The promoting effects of three plant growth regulators on seed germination and seedling growth of D.tsoi were in the order of GA3>IAA>2,4-D.50 mg/L GA3 had the best promoting effect on seed germination and seedling growth of D.tsoi, which could be used to promote seed germination of D.tsoi in production.
