Effects of Different Soilless Culture Treatments on the Growth of Seed Bulb of Oriental Lily'Siberia'
[Objective]Oriental lily bulbs have poor stress resistance,and are susceptible to diseases and insect pests in field soil cultivation.The annual growth of bulbs is small.In order to improve the quality of bulbs and shorten the breeding cycle,the research on soilless culture technology of seed bulbs was carried out,and the soilless culture and breeding technology system of oriental lily bulbs was established.[Method]With oriental lily'Siberia'as the test material,the effects of different cultivation matrix formulations,cultivation density and water-soluble fertilizer on the growth of lily seed balls were discussed by single factor randomized block design.[Result]The best matrix formula for soilless cultivation of oriental lily seed balls was imported peat∶perlite=3∶1,the most suitable soilless cultivation density was 100 grains/box,and the application of water-soluble fertilizer 2000 mg/L during the growth period was most conducive to the growth of seed balls.[Conclusion]The optimum matrix formula,cultivation density,fertilizer type and concentration of soilless culture of oriental lily seed ball were screened out,which provided reference for the large-scale production of oriental lily seed ball.
