Breeding of'Qiluhong'Strawberry New Variety and Its Supporting Cultivation Techniques
'Qiluhong'is a new strawberry variety with shallow dormancy and disease resistance,which was bred by crossbreeding shallow dormant strawberry variety'Hongxiu tianxiang'with Japanese strawberry variety'Benihoppe'.The plant belongs to the type of infinite growth,with a growth period of about 180 days and strong growth potential.It generally displays buds after the fifth or sixth leaves,with strong continuous fruit setting ability.Berry is short and conical,with slightly concave seeds,a bright red fruit surface,and a single fruit weight of 25-55 g.Berry has high hardness,is resistant to storage and transportation,and has a long shelf life,and is resistant to powdery mildew and gray mold.Promoting cultivation of 97 500-105 000 trees/hm2,with the yield of 67 500-75 000 kg/hm2,it is suitable for autumn delayed promoting cultivation and spring greenhouse semi promoting cultivation in northern China.
