Value and Application of Remote Sensing Monitoring of Forest Pests and Diseases to Ecological Resource Protection
Forest pests and diseases seriously threaten the security of ecological resources,so it was necessary to strengthen the monitoring,prediction and identification of pests and diseases.The application of remote sensing technology in forestry could meet the monitoring needs of pests and diseases.Timely transmission of the characteristics of pests and diseases,development degree and other information to the corresponding departments,from a professional perspective to deal with,reduced the impact of pests and diseases on ecological resources.This paper focused on the advantages of remote sensing monitoring technology in forest pest detection,and discussed its value to ecological resources protection and application.
