A Survey of Folk Medicated Diet Plants Resources in Lingnan and Its Garden Application Study
Classification of folk medicated diet plants commonly used in pharmacies in the Lingnan area for daily use through literature compilation and visits to pharmacies,etc.The analysis of 87 species,84 genera and 49 families of medicated diet plants commonlyused in pharmacies in Lingnan region on the dominant families and life types revealed that the dominant families of medicated diet plants in Lingnan are not obvious,and there are 31 species of plants in 7 families,such as Asteraceae,which accountedfor 35.63%of the total number of species,and the life types are dominated by herbaceous plants.To analyze thedominant families and life types of medicated diet plants available for landscape design in Lingnan region,the dominant families of medicated diet plants in landscape design in Lingnan region are obvious,and among 98 families,there are 7 families with 10 or more species totaling 80 species,accounting for 28.99%of the total species ratio.Of the four life types,there are 44 families of herbs,48 familiesof trees,and 40 familiesof shrubs,all three in equal overall proportions,while there are fewer bryophytes,with only four families.This study has certain significance for the excavation and preservation of the germplasm resources of Lingnan medicated diet plants,as well as the gardening and greening of the Lingnan area.
