Impact Calmodulin Content of Enhanced UV-B Radiation Stress onWheat Seedling
[Objective]To study the Calmodulin content in wheat seedlings by enhanced UV-B radiation stress, and then study the Calcium-Calmodulin signal transduction pathway in wheat seeding after enhanced UV-B Radiation Stress.[Method]The secondary salting method and Sephadex G-50 gel filtration chromatography method were used to separate purify calmodulin from wheat seedling, and the content of calmodulin was determined by PDE method.[Result]The CaM content in wheat seedlings enhanced UV-B radiation stress under normal light levels increased by about 23%.This may be caused by increased calcium ions due to enhanced UV-B stress, which in turn regulates CaM.[Conclusion]The results have laid a certain foundation for the study of the radiation resistance mechanism of wheat.
