Investigation and Utilization of Forest Germplasm Resources in Xuyong County of Luzhou City
[Objective]From 2019 to 2020,a comprehensive survey was conducted on the category,quantity,distribution and growth of forest germplasm resources in Xuyong county,in order to find out the germplasm resources in the county and lay a foundation for the development and utilization of germplasm resources.[Method]The wild,cultivated,collected and preserved germplasm resources as well as ancient and famous trees were investigated through data review,interview,line transect survey and fine stand survey,etc.The species,distribution and quantity were recorded in detail and specimens were collected.[Result]The results showed that there were 456 species,230 genera and 84 families of woody plant resources such as trees,bamboo,shrubs and woody vines found in Xuyong county.Among them,there were 18 species of gymnosperms in 7 families,14 genera,and 438 species of angiosperms in 77 families,216 genera.[Conclusion]According to the results of the survey,the countermeasures and suggestions were put forward from the aspects of development and utilization.The work was mainly carried out from the aspects of germplasm resource utilization zoning,protection and utilization of ancient trees and special resources,industrial utilization of local resources,protection of rare species and endangered species,and construction of complex plant communities,so as to achieve the combination of protection and utilization,and promote the sustainable development of local forest and bamboo industry.
