Breeding and Cultivation Techniques of New Rice Variety Tongyu 8802
The new cultivar Tongyu 8802 was bred by distant hybridization.The gene of Digitaria sanguinalis was transferred into rice by complex leading-in method to obtain new varities.Tongyu 8802 showed outstanding performance in rice quality,yield trial and resistance.In this paper,the breeding process,cultivation technology,yield performance,resistance to disease and stress,rice quality analysis and the main characteristics of Tongyu 8802 were introduced in detail.
