Poplar is one of the most widely used tree species for artificial afforestation in Shouxian county.It has the important tasks of timber,protection and ecological greening,and has high economic value,ecological value and carbon sink value.Familiarity with the main pests and diseases of poplar trees and their prevention and control can effectively improve the quality of poplar afforestation.The occurrence characteristics,control methods and comprehensive control suggestions of main pests and diseases of poplar in Shouxian county were summarized,which could provide reference for the formulation of poplar diseases and pests control schemes.
