Chizhou is rich in agricultural germplasm resources with distinctive local characteristics and excellent quality,which is the material basis and important source for the development of characteristic agricultural industry.The protection and utilization status of several excellent agricultural germplasm resources with local characteristics were mainly introduced,such as Jiuhua polygonatum,Xiaokeng tea,Dongzhi black fungus and Xishan jujube.The problems existing in the protection and utilization were analyzed and the countermeasures were put forward,so as to promote the sustainable development of characteristic agricultural industry in Chizhou.
