Platycladus orientalis was a kind of tree species commonly used in ecological afforestation in North China.The climate in north region was dry and the site condition was poor.The survival rate of afforestation could be greatly improved by using container seedlings.In order to improve the quality of container seedling rearing and afforestation,this paper summarized the key points of container seedling rearing and afforestation technology for the reference of producers.
