Study on Improvement Effect of Attapulgite on Planting Soil of Panax ginseng
[Objective]The aim was to study the improvement effect of different soil treatment methods using attapulgite as raw material on ginseng planting soil, and explore the soil improvement method before Panax ginseng planting.[Method]The soil fertility, soil enzyme activity and soil heavy metal content under 6 kinds of treatment were measured and analyzed with ginseng planting soil as the research object and pastoral soil as the control.[Result]All treatments had no significant effect on the contents of total phosphorus, total potassium and available nitrogen in soil.Except for treatment 6,the content of acid available phosphorus in other treatments was reduced, and treatment 4 increased the most.Treatments 1,3,4 and 5 significantly increased soil catalase activity, soil cellulose activity was significantly increased under treatments 2,4,5 and 6,and significantly decreased soil cellulase activity under treatments 1 and 3.Except for treatment 4 and 6,the activity of polyphenol oxidase in soil was significantly increased, and the activity of urease in soil was significantly decreased by all treatments. The contents of copper, lead and arsenic in all treated soils were significantly lower than the screening value of soil pollution risk of agricultural land. All treatments could significantly reduce the content of cadmium, and treatment 2 could effectively reduce the content of mercury in soil, and there was no risk of mercury pollution in soil after treatment.[Conclusion]This study provided data support for the next step to carry out the influence of attapulgite modified ginseng planting soil on P.ginseng production.
