Application and Research Progress of Fungicides in Silage Maize Production
Fungicides were a class of chemicals used to control,prevent and eliminate plant pathogens,mainly used in agriculture,horticulture and medicine.In recent years,the application of fungicides in corn production had been more and more extensive,in the reproductive growth stage of corn,fungicides could be used to prevent and control the infection of fungi and bacteria and other pathogens during the growth of corn,and through timely spraying of appropriate fungicides,could effectively reduce the occurrence of diseases and improve the yield and quality.In the storage stage of corn silage,fungicides play a key role in keeping fresh,inhibiting microbial growth,improving feed quality and safety,and were very important for the sustainable development of livestock and poultry industry.Although fungicides had broad application prospects in corn silage production,it was necessary to combine the specific situation of agricultural production,scientific and rational use and continuous improvement and innovation.The application of fungicides in silage maize production was summarized in order to provide theoretical support for further development and utilization of fungicides.
