Effects of Different Damage Levels of Heortia vitessoides on the Chlorophyll Content of Aquilaria sinensis
[Objective]The aim was to understand the effects of different damage levels of Heortia vitessoides on the relative chlorophyll content of Aquilaria sinensis leaves.[Method]A.sinensis forest in Yunlong research base in Haikou of Hainan province was taken as the research object.Through one-year investigation, the damage characteristics of H.vitessoides were mastered, and the chlorophyll SPAD value of the top leaves was measured during the peak period of pest occurrence.[Result]The damage of H.vitessoides had the characteristics of wide occurrence and high population density, and the peak of damage was from March to April and from October to December. There were significant differences in chlorophyll content between healthy leaves and different pest levels of A.sinensis.With the increase of damage level, chlorophyll content decreased.[Conclusion]This study laid a foundation for the comprehensive control of A.sinensis.
