Insights into Some Key Technological Issues on LED Lighting in Plant Factory
LED lighting for plant factory has been a research fronts and the key contents for agricultural lighting,also the research pathway and application field for LED lighting in controlled environment horticulture.This paper elaborated some key issues on LED lighting application in plant factory in terms of the scientific cognitions and developments.Firstly,red plus blue light combination is a necessary and sufficient condition for crop production in plant factory with LED lighting.Secondly,Quality advantages of hydroponic vegetables grown in plant factory with LED lighting are summarized.Thirdly,How to use green light in plant factory? Finally,utilization method for continuous lighting technology to improve nutritional quality for vegetables grown in plant factory is put forward.To sum up,clarification of above issues is useful for future study and industrial development for LED lighting in agriculture.
