The Research on the Optimization Design of Natural Lighting in Comprehensive Hospitals:A Case Study of the Schematic Design of the Phase Ⅰ of Taizhou Bay Hospital Project
Large comprehensive hospitals,in order to meet the efficient medical functions, often have a centralized layout with solid masses, lacking sufficient daylighting surfaces.Light is closely related to health, and a good natural light environment also contributes to the physical and mental health of patients.Using the design of the first-phase project of Taizhou Bay Hospital as an example, three spaces where patients frequently use were selected:the lobby and medical street, the outpatient modules, and the ward. The study explores optimization design strategies for a healthy light environment.A parameter model was established to simulate indoor natural light environment, and dynamic daylighting indicators were used as evaluation criteria. For different types of spaces, optimization of the indoor natural light environment was achieved by increasing the height of certain areas, dividing the medical street and diagnostic modules, changing orientations, etc. The optimization ratio was calculated, forming a comprehensive approach to health-oriented daylighting design for hospitals:"proposing design strategies based on the project,""establishing parameter models for quantitative analysis,"and"using data to justify design strategies.
