Architectural floodlighting has become an indispensable specialized content in EPC projects and whole-process design consulting projects.The sustainable development of urban construction requires architectural floodlighting.How to create a visually comfortable experience for people to appreciate architectural floodlighting is also worth pondering.This article explores,through design practice in public building projects,how media facades-among the forms of architectural floodlighting-can be more comfortably perceived by the human eye.In this design practice,we drew inspiration from the artistic conception of traditional Chinese landscape paintings.We found that architectural media facades presented with diffuse lighting effects can be regarded as outdoor visual display terminals that are sustainable and offer high comfort levels for nighttime viewing.This form of architectural floodlighting also provides a new approach for the dissemination of traditional Chinese aesthetic concepts,offering a new direction for the application of human-centric lighting principles at night.
