Research on the Differences in Relevant Standards for Ultraviolet Hazard Assessment
Ultraviolet(UV)products are currently widely used in hospitals, schools, homes, and other places around the world, playing a role in purifying air and disinfecting the environment.Due to the potential harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation on the human body,it is especially important to assess the degree of ultraviolet hazard. The article analyzes and compares the difference in ultraviolet hazard assessment among different photobiological standards, such as IEC 62471:2006,GB/T 20145-2006 and ANSI/IES RP-27.1-22,from aspects including wavelength sampling interval, exposure limit and UV hazard weighting functions. The aim is to help readers gain a deeper understanding of the differences between photobiological safety standards in different countries or regions regarding ultraviolet radiation. The experiment randomly selected data from three spectral sources and analyzed the differences in photobiological ultraviolet hazard assessment by referencing standards from different regions.
