Study on Exhibition Light Environment Based on the Perspective of Painting Appreciation
To study the exhibition lighting environment parameters based on the perspective of painting appreciation, this article starts from the visual experience and needs of visitors. It discusses the impact laws of painting visual appearance at the subjective perception level, and proposes analytical tools.Through research on traditional Chinese paintings such as landscapes, figures, and flowers-and-birds,it has been found that the display lighting environment with a color temperature of 3 000~5 600 K is more favored, and the viewing effect is significantly correlated with the color temperature. When the illumination is 50~300 lx,the viewing effect of traditional Chinese paintings is significantly correlated with the illumination, and the optimal combination of color temperature and illumination is 5 600 K~300 lx.A background with lower reflectivity under 3000 K-50 lx light environment and a background with higher reflectivity under 5 600 K-50 lx light environment can both improve the viewing effect. In the 3 000 K-50 lx light environment, the"visibility"and"texture"of traditional Chinese painting exhibits are correlated with the depth of the exhibition background color. In the 5 600 K-50 lx light environment, only the"texture"of traditional Chinese painting exhibits is strongly correlated with the depth of the exhibition background color.
