The huge development potential of the night tour market has attracted more and more attention,making rational development and innovative advancement a new topic of interest.In the context of the integration of culture and tourism,night tourism has also showcased diverse designs and strategies.Tourists are placing greater emphasis on the experiential perception of local culture,with the uniqueness,diversity and liveliness of regional culture becoming key elements in night tour design.This paper explores design methods for night tours that create new nighttime cultural tourism consumption and spatial experiences in the southwestern border region,using the night tour practice project on the Li River in Guilin as a case study.
