Low-Temperature Sintering of Long Afterglow Luminescent Glass of Strontium Aluminate and Its Luminescent Properties
Dispersing-long afterglow phosphorescent powders strontium aluminate ( SrAl2O4:Eu,Dy) into amorphous inorganic glass to prepare long afterglow luminescent glass is one of the important ways to improve the stability of SrAl2O4:Eu,Dy. In this paper, the long afterglow luminescent glass of strontium aluminate was prepared by using the glass system of PbO-SiO2-H3BO3-Na2CO3-Al2O3 with low melting point, and the obtained glass samples were characterized via X-ray diffractometer,3D digital microscope,high-temperature microscope, and UV-visible spectrophotometer. The results showed that the effective encapsulation of SrAl2O4:Eu,Dy can be realized at a lower temperature of 548 ℃,the strontium aluminate luminous powders were uniformly dispersed in the glass matrix, and the luminescent glass samples ( 3%SrAl2O4:Eu,Dy) exhibited the best transmittance of 49%,with ideal afterglow performance.
