A Review of the Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Military Field
At present,the application of artificial intelligence often combines the characteristics of the three research schools of semiotics,behaviorism,and connectionism,using multiple technical models and methods to achieve specific functions.Currently,artificial intelligence is still in the stage of artificial narrow intelligence and has not yet reached the level of artificial general intelligence.On the basis of the review of the development of artificial intelligence in military applications from world mil-itary powers,this article summarizes the current application modes of artificial intelligence in the military field,mainly including combat command,decision-making assistance,intelligent auxiliary training,autonomous control of unmanned combat platforms,and auxiliary recognition of combat targets.Further analysis is also conducted on each application mode,and the research content and development direction are detailed.Considering the prospect of the application of artificial intelligence in the military field,a positive attitude towards the research and development of military artificial intelligence is required to maintain at this stage.How-ever,in the face of singularity,the future use of strong artificial intelligence in the military field must be strictly controlled to pre-vent situations that are unfavorable to humanity.
