Digital Economy,Green Innovation Willingness and Green Innovation Performance:An Theoretical Framework on the Endogenization of Data as Production Factors and Empirical Study
Based on the Directed Technical Change framework, this paper introduces data as an en-dogenous element into the production and R&D process, and theoretically describes the substitution effect of digital industrialization and the penetration effect of industrial digitalization.A digital econ-omy-green innovation model has been constructed. This paper analyzes the changes in the relative returns of clean and polluting R&D driven by the digital economy, and explores the impact of the digital economy on green innovation and the mechanism of green innovation willingness. Finally, based on the city-level data in China, the theoretical proposition is empirically tested. The results show that:First, the digital economy significantly improves the performance of green innovation, and this conclusion is still valid after a series of robustness tests.Second, the mechanism research shows that the willingness to innovate is an important influencing mechanism for the digital econo-my to improve the performance of green innovation. This paper reveals the green bias of the digital economy and provides theoretical support for the green development of digitalization.
