Modern Chinese Economy from the Perspective of Sociologists:An Examination Based on Foreign Language Literature
Chinese sociology was imported from the West in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. At that time,China faced the main problem of economic development. Therefore, modern Chinese so-ciologists paid more attention to China's economic issues while paying attention to social issues.Their foreign literature used sociological methods to study the relationship between China's economic development and social development, and conducted in-depth and systematic research on the relationship between China's rural economy and farmer life, labor issues in the industrialization process, urban livelihood issues, and population and immigration issues. These studies have a broa-der perspective than economists who focus on resource allocation efficiency to study China's economic problems, providing new ideas for solving China's modern economic problems and have important academic value.
